Facial Fractures/Mandible Fractures

Dr. Albert Fox has extensive training in craniomaxillofacial surgery. Facial injuries due to motor vehicle accidents, falls, sports injuries, and domestic violence can lead to factures of the underlying facial bones. Fractures of the orbit, cheek bones, forehead, nose and jaw may occur. Dr. Albert Fox employs the most modern techniques available to repair these injuries and to restore both form and function as quickly as possible.

Dr. Fox takes utmost care to minimize or camouflage incisions, to make them less visible when undergoing repair for facial injuries. Often, repair of facial and mandible fractures requires the use of very small titanium plates and screws. New resorbable plates and screws may also be used when indicated. Facial Lacerations
